How TrueHeart 716 Began
TrueHeart 716 was founded during my freshman year at Canisius University. My former professor, Ben Dunkle, encouraged me to share my graphic designs with a wider audience. Recognizing my passion for both fashion and graphic design, he suggested that I start my own clothing brand.
Inspired by his encouragement, I launched TrueHeart 716. The name is deeply personal: "TrueHeart" is my last name, and "716" represents the Buffalo, New York area code, honoring the city where I was born and raised.
In addition to TrueHeart 716, I created another collection called Crowned Queen. What began as a custom design for someone has grown into a brand of its own, and I have decided to offer Crowned Queen merchandise alongside my TrueHeart 716 apparel.
My journey as a clothing brand owner has been both exciting and rewarding. One of my early milestones was participating in an art festival in Canada with my former professor, where I had the opportunity to showcase and sell my clothing.
Today, TrueHeart 716 merchandise is available on Etsy through @716Hearts and on the TikTok Shop through @trueheart716. I look forward to continuing to grow my brand, creating unique designs, and sharing my passion for fashion and creativity with others.
